Stephanie Rojas Rodríguez is a freelance photojournalist based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, available for assignments worldwide. Her work focuses on documenting concerts, local culture, news, and nonprofit initiatives.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Photography with a minor in Journalism from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
Stephanie has participated in workshops like the Mountain Workshops Video Journalism in Paris, Kentucky, and the Professional Training Workshops in Audiovisual Production offered by the Museum Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico (MAC). She is currently interning at the Afrodiasporic and Racial Studies Research Center under Mayra Santos Febres.
Her diverse work experience includes government photography for La Fortaleza, the Department of State, and the Municipality of Cataño. She also documented roof repair efforts after Hurricane María for the nonprofit Techos Pa' Mi Gente, workshops offered to teachers of the Department of Education by Flamboyán Foundation, and shot concerts for GFR Media, Helda Hoy Magazine and Apoya Lo Nuestro. Additionally, she worked as a photographer for the Athletic Department of the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón during her last two years of college.
